Police Violence

Police violence has always existed. Sometimes it happens because, there are no coorperation, sometimes, it's injust. Police feels that they have to use force in order for the other person to respond. Over the past years, it has become more and more apparent. I can understand that force should be used, because at times, there are some people that want to be ignorant and fail to follow the instructions of police officers. They are risking their lives to protect everyone, but some people feel that they are treated injusticely, when they are the ones that are shouting at the mouth when officers are asking to follow procedures. I am not saying that police violence is justifiable, but if they feel that they are threatened, they will react. If everytime, a police ask someone to lower their voices, or pull over, even to put their hands up, there shouldn't not be any kind of resistance,or shouting at the mouth. There have been cases where police officers used extra force when it was not necessary. One example is that of the Eric Gardner, he was on chokehold by an officer until he died, this was unecessary. On the contrary, an officer told a group of young people to calm down, when they were being a nuisance, they fail to listen to the officer, and pulled out the race card. I feel that if we are told to do something, and we do it without resistance, at the end we have a strong defense. If we truly are innocent, it will come to light. There have been many incident where someone recorded a incident that happened with an officer, and sometimes it shows the other person as being the agressor. Police violence is done to people that are defenless. Officers feel that they have the power because they have a badge, that is not the way to exercise authority.
